Buttercream Frosting Tried & True

Answer

1 c. butter, soft

8 c. powdered sugar

2 t. vanilla

1/2 c. milk

Cream butter and powdered sugar.  Then add vanilla.  Then slowly add milk until you reach your desired thickness.

For peanut butter use peanut butter in place of butter.

For chocolate use 1/2 c. cocoa in place of 1/2 c. powdered sugar.

This recipe came from the internet and worked great.  It can be stored in the freezer for longer period or stored in the refrigerator.
