What led you to Africa?

We said we would like to go wherever the greatest need is within Wycliffe and that is Africa. DeAnna secretly told the Lord “anywhere but Africa” because she only heard about negative experiences missionaries had in Africa. The Lord continued to expose DeAnna to more truth about Africa and to break her heart for all of His people. As Sue Eenigenburg writes in Screams in the Desert, “I think God delights in helping us recognize that He is the leader, not us. When we follow Him, we are blessed wherever we serve Him.”
