Inside Out Ravioli

Answer

1 lb. ground beef

1 clove garlic, minced

½ cup chopped onion

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach

1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

16 oz. (1/2 jar) spaghetti sauce

Dash of pepper

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

½ teas. salt

1 (7 oz.) pkg. small shell macaroni (2 cups cooked)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup soft Italian bread crumbs

2 well beaten eggs

¼ cup olive oil

Brown first 3 ingredients in large skillet.  Cook pasta and cook spinach according to directions, drain, but reserve spinach liquid.  Add water to make 1 cup liquid.  Add spinach liquid and next 5 ingredients to meat.  Simmer.  Combine spinach, macaroni and remaining ingredients.  Spread in 13x9 casserole dish.  Top with meat mixture.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
